Obverse: Liberty is portrayed, facing left, with cap on her head and the word LIBERTY on her crown. 7 and 6 stars on the left and right periphery, respectively with the date positioned in the bottom center. The border has defined beads due to improved manufacturing techniques.
Reverse: An eagle is centered in the design with a shield over its chest, holding arrows and olive branches in its talons. A ribbon above bears the motto E PLURIBUS UNUM with UNITED STATES OF AMERICA around the periphery. The denomination listed as "10 C." appears at the bottom. The border has defined beads due to improved manufacturing techniques.
