Obverse: For the obverse design of 2021 1 oz Antique Gibraltar Lady Justice Silver Coins, the mint features both the Royal Arms of England and the coat of arms of Gibraltar. The British Overseas Territory of Gibraltar has been part of the United Kingdom since the Treaty of Utrecht in 1713. The Royal Arms shown here includes a quartered shield with the seal of the United Kingdom, as well as the Lion of England and the Unicorn of Scotland. The coat of arms of Gibraltar features at the bottom. Granted by a Royal Warrant in July 1502, it was the Spanish Queen Isabella I of Castile who granted the seal to Gibraltar during its Spanish period.
Reverse: In the reverse design of the 2021 Antique Gibraltar Lady Justice Silver Coins, you will find the image of Justitia. She is shown here in front-facing relief with a sword in her right hand and a set of scales in her left as she wears a blindfold.
