Reverse: At center, two crossed anchors behind an equilateral triangle, international symbol for Protection and Prevention. Over the triangle the symbols for ground, air and sea, through which, Mexico's Navy fulfils it's duty to assist civil population. Ground is represented by a K-9 team formed by a Navy Seal and a dog, mainly for search and rescue. Air is represented by a helicopter, used to transport personnel, materials, and allows for the rescue in hard-to-access zones. Sea is represented by a logistic support vessel, which is used to transport supplies, gear and human resources. Commemorative dates on left and right, mint mark at right and face value in numbers at bottom.
